Inadequate hospital ventilation system increases the risk of nosocomial Mycobacterium tuberculosis

呼吸器専門病院および結核診断センターの 9 か所から採取した周囲空気を分析し、結核菌（Mycobacterium tuberculosis）によるリスクを評価した。4 か所から 6 ～20 換算菌量^※/m³ の結核菌が検出され、換算菌量が最も多かったのは換気が不適切な廊下であった。これらの区域では、結核菌の感染源であることが知られている区域と比較して医療従事者の感染リスクに対する意識が低く、防御マスクの着用と受動的換気が実施されていない。以上の結果から、さらなる感染予防・制御策の実施が必要である。
