Polysorbate additive improves microbiological testing of endoscopes: an exploratory study

内視鏡の消毒は、その柔軟な構造、滅菌が困難な部位のため本質的に難しい。我々は、ポリソルベート 80 に基づく新製品の試験を実施し、初期の非準拠洗浄後の標準的な再処理手順にこれを追加し、品質保証中の準拠率を、標準手順で洗浄した内視鏡とポリソルベート製品で洗浄した内視鏡で比較した。28 本の内視鏡が標準手順によって二次洗浄を受け、29 本がポリソルベート添加洗浄を受けた。ポリソルベート添加により遵守率は 100％（95％信頼区間：88.3 ～ 100）に達したのに対し、標準手順では 82.1％（64.4 ～ 92.1）であった（P ＜ 0.05）。洗浄技術者を対象に実施したアンケート調査では手順に対する満足度が 10 点満点中 9.7 点と評価された。
