Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in healthcare: a scoping review

暖房・換気・空調システムのガイドラインは、様々な状況に対応して作成されている。しかし、感染制御策の適切な指針を示すために不可欠な、隔離室の暖房・換気・空調システムについて明確な推奨をもたらす最新のエビデンスは不足している。関連のある利害関係者および政策立案者に情報を提供するために、隔離室の暖房・換気・空調システムに関するガイドラインを明らかにした。5 つのデータベース（CINAHL、Embase、Joanna Briggs Institute、Medline、Web of Science）とウェブサイトを用いて、Joanna Briggs Methodology に基づき系統的検索を行った。政府機関が公表した論文 8 報を、本レビューの対象とした。大半の研究において、再循環を行わない気流制御、1 時間あたりの換気回数 12 回、HEPA フィルターろ過による空気感染隔離室からの汚染空気の排出、湿度 60％以下、温度 18 ～ 30°Cが推奨されていた。本レビューは、隔離室における感染の伝播を効果的に抑制するためには、扉の型、前室および病床管理を考慮に入れ、暖房・換気・空調システム設定値の最適範囲を定量化する、学際的共同研究が必要であるというさらなるエビデンスを提供している。

今日の先進国の病院は気密性が高く、空調の調節もその対応が十分にとられる必要がある。先進国にはさまざまな院内空調に関連したガイドラインがあり、各病院はそのガイドラインの基準と照らし合わせて自らの病院が適切に調整しているかどうか、検証する必要がある。
