Intention to get vaccinations against COVID-19 in French healthcare workers during the first pandemic wave: a cross-sectional survey

背景
医療従事者は新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）パンデミックの最前線にありCOVID-19 ワクチン接種の優先的な候補と見なされている。著者らの目的は、フランスの医療従事者における COVID-19 ワクチン接種に対する受容度を明らかにすることであった。

方法
2020 年 3 月 26 日から 7 月 2 日に、匿名調査を行った。主要評価項目は、COVID-19 ワクチンが利用可能であるなら、ワクチン接種を受ける意思の有無とした。

結果
医療従事者 2,047 名が調査に回答し、回答者の 74％は女性であった。回答者のうち、1.554 名（76.9％、95％信頼区間 75.1 ～ 78.9）が COVID-19 ワクチン接種を受容すると回答した。高齢、男性、COVID-19 に対する恐怖、個人が認識しているリスク、および前シーズン中のインフルエンザワクチン接種が、仮定上の COVID-19 ワクチン接種に対する受容度と関連した。看護師および看護助手は、医師と比べて、COVID-19 ワクチン接種に対する受容度が低かった。ワクチン接種に対するためらいは、COVID-19ワクチンに対する受容度の低下と関連した。前シーズン中のインフルエンザワクチン接種率は 57.3％であり、回答者の 54.6％は次のシーズンにはインフルエンザワクチン接種を受ける意思があると回答した。

結論
COVID-19 ワクチン接種を受ける意思を有する割合は医療従事者で 75％に達しており、職種によって差が認められた。COVID-19 パンデミックによる、インフルエンザワクチン接種の受容度に対する促進作用はなかった。

監訳者コメント：
COVID-19 のワクチンがようやく日本でも医療従事者を対象に開始され、高齢者へと対象者が拡大する予定である。フランスの医療従事者のワクチン接種の意志に関するアンケートである、このアンケートは 2020 年 3 月から 7 月にかけて実施されたものであるが、第一波がフランスを襲い 1 日4,000 ～ 7,000 例が新規感染者として報告された時期であり、第一回目のロックダウンの最中でもあった。一方、この時点でワクチン開発は開始されているものの現実的にはなっていない状況下での医療従事者へのアンケートであり、COVID-19 のワクチンがどんな製剤であるかも不明な時点である。さらにその副反応や効果について考えるデータがなく、加えてインフルエンザワクチンとの対比があることから、接種同意へポジティブに作用した可能性がある。
