インフルエンザ罹患率が高いシーズン中における救急部への cobas Liat ポイント・オブ・ケア検査の導入：実臨床への導入後の後向き評価

インフルエンザ A 型／B 型ウイルスおよび RS ウイルス検出用の cobas Liat influenza A/B & RSV アッセイ（Liat）を、2018 年 1 月21 日から 2018 年 4 月 14日にわたり、ロンドンの大規模病院の成人救急部で使用した。検査した検体 1,027 個中 308 個（30％）でインフルエンザウイルスが検出された。インフルエンザ A 型ウイルスは 157 個（15.3％）で、インフルエンザ B 型ウイルスは 149 個（14.5％）で検出され、RS ウイルスは 28 個（2.7％）で検出された。Fast Track Diagnostics Respiratory Pathogens 21 マルチプレックス PCR および Cepheid Xpert Xpress Flu/RSV アッセイと比較した場合、Liat のインフルエンザ A 型または B 型ウイルスの検出性能は、感度 85％（95％信頼区間［CI］76 ～ 92）、特異度 98％（95％CI 97 ～ 99）、陰性的中率 94％（95％CI 92 ～ 96）および陽性的中率 95％（95％CI 91 ～ 97）であった。
