In vitro antimicrobial activity of the novel polymeric guanidine Akacid plus

陽イオン系消毒薬の新規高分子化合物であるAkacid plusの殺菌および殺真菌活性を、黄色ブドウ球菌、エンテロコッカス・ヒラエ（Enterococcus hirae）、大腸菌、緑膿菌、カンジダ・アルビカンス（Candida albicans）、およびアスペルギルス・ニガー（Aspergillus niger）の品質管理菌株を用いて、グルコン酸クロルヘキシジンと比較した。欧州標準化委員会（European Committee for Standardization）が定めた定量的懸濁試験法によりin vitro活性を測定した。使用濃度は、細菌およびC. albicansに対しては0.01～0.5％、A. nigerに対しては0.5～4％とし、蒸留水および硬水で希釈した0.3％ウシアルブミン存在下また非存在下で5、15、および60分間曝露した。基本的な定量的懸濁試験法では、Akacid plusは5分以内に、0.1％の濃度ですべての病原細菌を殺菌した。クロルヘキシジンも黄色ブドウ球菌、大腸菌、および緑膿菌に対する活性が高かったが、5分以内にE. hiraeを殺菌することはできなかった。高濃度の有機物（ウシアルブミン）存在下では、両消毒薬の活性がわずかに低下した。Akacid plusは、C. albicansに対して15～60分以内に殺真菌活性を示し、A. nigerを濃度1％、5分間の接触で殺菌した。クロルヘキシジンは、C. albicansを殺菌したが、A. nigerは殺菌しなかった。
