Coverage of hepatitis B vaccination in Swedish healthcare workers

本研究の目的は、血液曝露リスクのある医療従事者が、B型肝炎ワクチン接種に関するガイドラインをどの程度実践しているかを評価することである。スウェーデンの大学病院の6部門、すなわち救急治療室、集中治療室、術後室、手術室、麻酔部門、および血液化学検査室で、点接種率の調査を実施した。本調査の24時間で、これらの部門で勤務した全医療従事者に、質問票のすべての項目に記入するよう依頼した。合計369件の質問票を解析した。医療従事者の79％（293/369）が最低1回のワクチン接種を受けていたが、接種必要回数すべてを受けたと報告したのは40％（147/369）のみで、21％（76/369）は全く受けていなかった。ワクチン非接種の医療従事者の大多数（72/76、95％）は、申し出があればワクチン接種に応じると回答した。ガイドラインのコンプライアンス向上の主な障壁は、従事者にワクチン接種が受け入れられていないことではなく、雇用主が方針の実践を確実に行っていないことである。
