Waterborne infections in haemato-oncology units ― a narrative review

骨髄移植患者や血液腫瘍患者は、水系病原体による医療関連感染症のリスクがある。2000 年から 2022 年までの血液腫瘍患者における水系感染症アウトブレイクに関して記述的レビューを実施した。PubMed、DARE、CDSR のデータベースを用いて検索し、2 名の著者が文献レビューを実施した。関連した微生物、特定された発生源、実施された感染予防制御策について分析した。関連した病原体でもっとも多かったのは、緑膿菌（Pseudomonas aeruginosa）、非結核性抗酸菌、レジオネラ・ニューモフィラ（Legionella pneumophila）であった。血流感染症がもっとも多い臨床像であった。大多数の事象において、制御するために多面的対策が使用され、水源と伝播経路のいずれも対処された。本レビューは、血液腫瘍患者への水系病原体によるリスクに注目し、血液腫瘍内科における今後の予防策および新規の英国ガイダンスの要件について検討する。

監訳者コメント：

水に親和性の高い病原菌で易感染性患者がこうした菌により感染症を引き起こすリスクが高い。本文献ではこうした患者における病原菌のリスクに着目し、検討を加えている。
