サル痘ウイルスおよび他のオルソポックスウイルス属に対する殺生物製剤と非生体消毒薬の有効性

ヒトのサル痘ウイルス感染症の件数は多くの国で増加傾向にある。典型的な伝播様式は直接的接触による。実験条件下で無生物表面上のオルソポックスウイルス属の感染性は最長 42 日間持続する可能性があるので、確定症例の環境への消毒は妥当であろう。本レビューの目的は、サル痘ウイルスおよび他のオルソポックスウイルス属に対する殺生物製剤と非生体消毒薬の抗ウイルス効果に関して既報データを評価することである。2022 年 6 月 5 日に Medline での検索を実施した。“monkeypox virus”“poxvirus”“orthopoxvirus”の用語を“disinfection”と組み合わせて検索した。消毒によるオルソポックスウイルス属の不活性化に関するオリジナルデータを提示した公表文献を対象に、結果を抽出した。浮遊試験および人工的に汚染させた表面上で、ワクシニアウイルスに対する 70%エタノール(1 分以内)、0.2%過酢酸(10 分以内)、1%~ 10%プロバイオティクス洗浄剤(1 時間)により少なくとも 4 log10 の不活性化がみられ、これは主にさまざまな種類の有機物負荷を加えて示された。浮遊試験では過酸化水素(14.4%)とヨード(0.04%~ 1%)が有効で、人工的に汚染させた表面では、次亜塩素酸ナトリウム(0.25%~ 2.5%、1 分)、2%グルタルアルデヒド(10 分)、0.55%オルトフタルアルデヒド(5 分)が有効であった。銅(99.9%)はワクシニアウイルスとサル痘ウイルスに対して 3 分以内で同程度に有効であった。血液、気道、皮膚病変の複合物に類似するさまざまな種類の有機物負荷による浮遊試験および実際の条件下で有効性データが得られた消毒薬が、サル痘ウイルスの不活性化のために望ましい。
