新生児集中治療室におけるエンテロバクター・クロアカエ（Enterobacter cloacae）複合体株のアウトブレイク：多面的調査および予防策が必要★

本稿では、2020 年 11 月から 2021 年 2 月に実施した、新生児集中治療室におけるエンテロバクター・クロアカエ（Enterobacter cloacae）複合体アウトブレイクを制御することを目的とした調査について報告する。パルスフィールド・ゲル電気泳動（PFGE）により、8 例中 5 例が同一のクローン株に感染していることが示された。この新生児集中治療室において母親らが共同使用していた搾乳器が、クローン株拡散の原因となった可能性がある。
監訳者コメント：
フランスの NICU におけるエンテロバクター・クロアカエ複合体のアウトブレイクの報告である。原因として搾乳器の共用が疑われたのも重要であるが、それ以外の多面的なアプローチについても記載されており、NICU の感染対策を考える上で、参考になる。
