2020 年のパンデミック下での医療スタッフのインフルエンザワクチン接種および見込まれる新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）ワクチン接種に対する認識★

新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）のパンデミックによって、医療現場での感染症伝播があらためて注目されるようになった。本研究は COVID-19 の状況下でのインフルエンザワクチン接種に対するスタッフの認識を評価することを目的とした。英国の主要な 3 次紹介病院 1 施設の全医療従事者に、2020 年 9 月 2 日から 13 日に実施した調査への回答を依頼した。様々な職種にわたって計 593 件の回答を得た。44％は COVID-19 のために今年インフルエンザワクチン接種を受ける可能性は高いと報告したが、10％はソーシャル・ディスタンシング（社会的距離確保）によりインフルエンザワクチンの重要性は低いと感じていた。追加の質問によって 新型コロナウイルスワクチン接種を受ける意志を評価した。スタッフのグループ間でかなりの意見の相違があった。
監訳者コメント：
英国での新型コロナウイルスワクチン接種前の 2020 年 9 月時点での医療従事者に対するアンケートである。多くの医療従事者がインフルエンザワクチン、新型コロナウイルスワクチンの重要性を理解していたが、10％と少数派であるがソーシャル・ディスタンシング（社会的距離確保）によりインフルエンザワクチンの重要性は低いと感じている医療従事者がいることは興味深い。
