Prevention and protection measures of healthcare workers exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in a university hospital in Bari, Apulia, Southern Italy

重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス 2（SARS-CoV-2）関連感染症は、公衆衛生に重大な影響を及ぼし、医療従事者は高い生物学的リスクに曝されている。本稿では、イタリアの バーリ大学病院で、医療従事者のリスクを低減するために導入された予防措置について報告する。この予防措置には、予防措置の強化、および医療従事者の接触データを収集するための報告システムの活用が含まれていた。プロトコールの導入後 30 日の観察期間に、感染確定症例 23 例（全医療従事者の 0.4％）が報告された。この結果から、医療従事者の接触に関する正しい管理が、院内クラスターを防ぐために不可欠であることが示されている。

監訳者コメント：
イタリアの大学病院における SARS-CoV-2 感染防止プロトコルの報告。医療従事者が適切な防護なしに濃厚接触した場合は 14 日間の自宅隔離が推奨されているが、本プロトコルでは 7 日の自宅隔離の後、鼻咽頭スワブを行い 24 時間空けて 2 回陰性であれば職場復帰可能としており、隔離期間を短縮する方法として参考となる。
