Immunosuppression-mediated hepatitis B reactivation diagnosed following an investigation into suspected transfusion-transmitted hepatitis B

2006 年 8 月、フランスの地域単位の院内感染制御ユニットである ARLIN に、5 か月前に輸血を受けた 87 歳の免疫抑制患者の症候性急性 B 型肝炎症例が報告された。免疫抑制療法は、様々な疾患で使用される機会が増加している。免疫抑制患者に対しては、B 型肝炎ウイルス（HBV）感染歴の調査を行い、必要な場合は先制治療を実施すべきである。この免疫抑制患者にみられた HBV 再活性化に関する著者らの調査について報告する。この調査について述べるとともに、免疫抑制患者の HBV 再活性化には引き続き警戒が必要であり、これらの患者は様々な診療分門の医師を受診する可能性があることを強調したい。
