タイの病院における洪水後の真菌エアロゾル測定性能を、落下菌測定法と微生物学的エアサンプラー法とで比較評価した。落下菌測定法による真菌エアロゾル量中央値は、自然換気^※※病棟のほうが閉鎖換気^※病棟と比較して培養 3 日目（270 対 90 コロニー形成単位［cfu］/m³）および 5 日目（420 対 180 cfu/m³）で有意に高かった。落下菌測定法と微生物学的エアサンプラー法の培養 3 日目（r ＝ 1.60、P ＜ 0.001）および 5 日目（r ＝ 1.49、P ＝ 0.002）の結果には強い相関が認められたことから、落下菌測定法は、医療資源の乏しい環境の自然換気病棟における洪水後の真菌エアロゾル測定に有用であることが示唆される。
