Point prevalence surveys of healthcare-associated infection in 13 hospitals in Hubei Province, China, 2007-2008

2007年および2008年11月に、中国・湖北省の三級甲等^※の13病院を対象として、中華人民共和国衛生部が定めた症例定義の基準を用いて連続的な時点有病率調査を実施し、医療関連感染症有病率のモニタリングを行った。調査した合計20,350例の患者の790例（3.88％）に833件（4.09％）の医療関連感染症が認められた。医療関連感染症の全有病率は、2007年（4.14％）と2008年（3.72％）で有意差はなかった。最も頻度が高い医療関連感染症は気道感染症（63.15％）、次いで手術部位感染症（9.60％）および尿路感染症（8.64％）であった。微生物検査結果が陽性であった医療関連感染症患者は35.29％（833例中294例）のみであった。最も分離頻度が高い菌はグラム陰性菌であり、緑膿菌（Pseudomonas aeruginosa）が最も多く、大腸菌（Escherichia coli）、アシネトバクター・バウマニー（Acinetobacter baumannii）、黄色ブドウ球菌（Staphylococcus aureus）などが続いた。10,344例（50.83％）の患者が抗菌薬を使用しており、治療薬または予防薬として使用頻度が高い薬剤はセファロスポリン系、ペニシリン系、およびキノロン系であった。
