The implementation of portable air-cleaning technologies in healthcare settings - a scoping review

COVID-19 パンデミックによって、医療施設における主に空中微生物（バイオエアロゾルとしても知られている）の拡散に関連した予防法を改善する機会が得られた。本スコーピングレビューの目的は、医療施設における移動式空気清浄機の実施を評価するために使用される方法をマッピングし、ギャップを特定し、将来的な研究について提言することである。プロトコールを Open Science Framework に登録し、Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis- an extension for Scoping Reviews（PRISMA-ScR［スコーピングレビューのための PRISMA 声明拡張版］）により規定されたチェックリストに従い報告した。5 つのデータベースおよび 1 つの灰色文献ソースで検索方法を実施した。最終選択段階において、選択基準を満たした論文 24 報を要約し、報告した。この 24 報のうち 17 報の研究は 2020 年から 2022 年に実施され、17 報中 1 報は多施設無作為化対照試験のプロトコールであった。複数の研究において評価されたアウトカムは、空中微生物数、空中浮遊粒子濃度、感染／介入発生率などであった。評価された主要な医療施設は、歯科クリニック（28％）、病棟（16％）、手術室（16％）、集中治療室（12％）であった。器具の大部分で、バイオエアロゾルの影響を有意に低減する可能性が認められた。室内空気質のいくつかのパラメーターが、エアロゾル力学に影響を及ぼしうるが、これらのパラメーターを制御した分析研究はわずかであった。今後の臨床研究では、結果の臨床的重要性を明らかにするために、長期追跡および大規模サンプルサイズを用いた無作為化対照試験によって感染率を評価すべきである。
