背景

クロストリジオイデス(クロストリジウム)・ディフィシル(ClostridioidesClostridiumdifficile)は抗菌薬を服用する患者において、下痢を引き起こす重要な病原体の 1 つである。限られた医療資源を考慮すると、抗菌薬使用と病原菌の拡散によって引き起こされる脅威の制御を優先する必要があるが、利用可能なデータ、特に韓国の C. difficile 感染症に関するデータはほとんどない。

 

目的

本研究では、C. difficile 感染症に起因する入院期間(LOS)と医療費の増加について解析した。

 

方法

C.difficile 感染症に関連する LOS の延長と医療費の増加を推定するため、傾向スコアマッチング実験(C. difficile 感染症を有する入院患者) – 対照(C. difficile 感染症を有さない入院患者)研究を実施した。2006 年から 2015 年の国民健康保険サービスの全国サンプルコホートからデータを取得した。人口統計学的特性、疾患重症度、医療施設の情報に関する種々の交絡変数を積極的に調整することによって、信頼性のある結果が得られた。

 

結果

感染症 1 症例あたりの C. difficile に起因する LOS の延長は 36.9 日、入院費の増加は 8,298 米ドルであった。

 

結論

本研究では、韓国における C. difficile 感染症に関連する考慮すべき負担を定量化した。
