フランスのナーシングホームにおける擦式アルコール製剤の使用量：2018 年から 2019 年全国調査の結果★

本研究では、フランスのナーシングホームにおける手指衛生の実践状況について、擦式アルコール製剤の使用量を代理指標として評価を行った。2018 年から 2019 年における擦式アルコール製剤の使用量および占有率を収集するために、フランスの 17 地域にあるナーシングホームに連絡をとった。フランスの 15 地域にあるナーシングホーム計 1,290 施設が本調査に参加した。居住者 1 日あたりに推定した手指衛生行動回数の中央値は、2018 年では 1.48 回（四分位範囲［IQR］1.04 ～2.03）、2019 年では 1.60 回（IQR 1.10 ～ 2.26）であった。ICT（感染制御チーム）またはリンクナースを有する公立ナーシングホームでは、擦式アルコール製剤の使用量が有意に多かった。
監訳者コメント：
フランスのナーシングホームで擦式アルコール製剤の使用に改善の余地があることを示した報告。日本でも同様の状況が予想され、医療機関の ICT が地域の高齢者施設に出向くことも重要になっていくであろう。
