自動化室内除染を図るオゾン発生システムの殺ウイルス効果★

室内除染のために、従来の予防法に加えて、ガスシステムによる非接触式技術が病院衛生に導入されている。殺生物製剤としてオゾンを発生する全室除染装置 Sterisafe Pro（Association Française de Normalisation Standard NF T 72-281:2014 に適合）の殺ウイルス効果を試験した。除染 150 分後および 300 分後に、すべてのテストウイルス力価は低下し、平均減少係数は 2.63（マウスノロウイルス）～ 3.94（シミアンウイルス 40）であった。これらの結果は、ウイルス不活性化の実際的な条件、ならびに非エンベロープウイルスおよびエンベロープウイルスに対するオゾン技術の有効性の評価を構築するのに有用と考えられる。
監訳者コメント：
消毒薬の空間噴霧については人体への影響を考え、WHO や米国 CDC でも有人環境での使用を推奨していないが、無人環境ではガスシステムによる非接触式技術が医療機関でも導入されてきている。特にノロウイルスなどのノンエンベロープウイルスは消毒薬抵抗性が強く、こうした技術の活用が期待される。
