Do established infection prevention and control measures prevent spread of SARS-CoV-2 to the hospital environment beyond the patient room?

感染症伝播における病院環境の役割は十分に報告されている。伝播様式が研究段階にある新興感染症において、拡散を防ぐために、患者隔離、手指衛生、病室退出時に外す個人防護具、環境清掃など厳重な感染予防・制御策を実施すべきである。環境検査では、COVID-19 患者により患者領域が汚染されていたが（26 カ所中 11 カ所、検査の 42.3％）、一般病棟の領域の汚染はわずかであり（30 カ所中 1 カ所、3％）、清掃後にウイルスが検出されたのは、破損が認められた 1 カ所のみであることが確認された（25 カ所中 1 カ所、4％）。
