Multidrug-resistant Candida auris: ‘new kid on the block’ in hospital-associated infections?

侵襲性カンジダ・オーリス（Candida auris）感染は、2009 年に耳のスワブで、2011 年に血液培養で初めて報告されて以来、複数の大陸にまたがる多くの国々で報告されている。本稿は、この新興の多剤耐性病原菌の疫学について現在の知見を概説する。また、種同定の重要性と、広く利用されている多くの同定方法の欠点を検討する。我々は、各病院がこの病原菌による感染の予防・管理方針を立てることを推奨する。こうした方針の内容と現在の知識基盤の限界も考察する。
