Prevention and control of carbapenemase-producing organisms at a regional burns centre

世界の多数の地域で、カルバペネマーゼ産生菌が流行している。このような国から英国に内科患者が転院してくる場合、我々は制御システムを整え、その後の伝播を回避する必要がある。本報告では、地域熱傷センターが初めて直面した異なる 2 件の事例によるカルバペネマーゼ産生菌発生例 4 症例について述べる。我々の経験から学ぶべき重要な点として、カルバペネマーゼ産生菌の流行地域から来た患者に対する経験的抗菌薬投与では、本菌を考慮に入れることが重要である。我々は、接触培地を用いて、清掃後の細菌数の多さを立証し、職員の関与および教育を継続することの重要性とともに、最終清掃（退室後清掃）の戦略について報告する。
