Ebola virus disease: awareness among junior doctors in England

現在のエボラウイルスの蔓延は、英国に持続的な脅威をもたらしている。若手臨床医は病院で医療の最前線にあることが多いため、エボラウイルス病の臨床的特性および管理に関する彼らの認識は、時宜を得た感染制御策の実施に重大な影響を及ぼすと考えられる。このような観点から、英国の 4 病院の若手医師 119 名を対象として、エボラウイルス病の知識レベルを評価する横断研究を実施した。この集団におけるエボラウイルス病の重要な特性に関する知識は、現時点では不十分であることが示された。

輸入例を経験した英国でも、医師の認識には当事者感覚はないのかもしれない。日本では様々なシミュレーションや議論が行われたが、その成果が改善につながってくれることを祈っている。
