Sociocognitive predictors of the intention of healthcare workers to receive the influenza vaccine in Belgian, Dutch and German hospital settings

背景

目的
医療従事者がインフルエンザワクチンを受ける動機を説明するための社会認知的因子の相対的および複合的強度を、これまでの研究、理論、および定性的研究から調査すること。
方法
無記名式のオンライン質問票を、2013 年 2 月から 4 月にベルギー、ドイツ、およびオランダの病院の医療従事者に送付した。
結果
姿勢およびワクチン接種歴によって、医療従事者のインフルエンザワクチン接種意思の分散のかなりの程度が説明された。また、低い社会規範認識、不作為バイアス（omission bias）、低い道徳規範、高齢、患者との接触なし、およびベルギー人またはオランダ人（ドイツ人との比較）の場合は、インフルエンザワクチン接種意思がない割合が、ワクチン接種意思が未定である割合と比較して増加した。医療従事者がインフルエンザに罹患しやすいことを強く認識している場合、自然主義的な考え方が小さい場合、および自衛のためだけにワクチンを接種するという動機が小さい場合には、インフルエンザワクチン接種意思がある割合が、ワクチン接種意思が未定である割合よりも高いことが示された。
結論
国を単位とした介入、および医療従事者のインフルエンザワクチン接種意思の有無に応じた種々の社会認知的因子を注視することが、ワクチン接種の推進に有益であると考えられる。

監訳者コメント：
日本の医療従事者と比較して、欧米では医療従事者のインフルエンザワクチン接種率が低く問題視されている。なぜこのギャップが生じているのかは不確かではあるが、学童期の集団接種世代を経ているためかもしれない。
