Hepatitis B vaccination policies for student healthcare workers in Europe

学生の医療従事者は、B 型肝炎ウイルス（HBV）伝播の特有のリスクグループであり、その職務開始後の可及的早期にワクチン接種を受けるべきである。欧州連合（EU）諸国の HBV に特化した施策の概要を調査するため、横断研究を実施した。17 か国から回答を得た。医学生および看護学生に対する HBV ワクチン接種は 5 か国で義務化されており、9 か国で推奨されていた。ワクチン接種前の検査は 5 か国、ワクチン接種後の血清学的な検査は 12 か国で実施されていた。HBV ユニバーサルワクチン接種に関する種々の方針に対応するため、学生の医療従事者に対する HBV ワクチン接種強化策は多様なものとすべきである。

監訳者コメント：
日本でも、医療系の学生は病院実習の際にワクチン接種記録を求められることから、ワクチン接種歴がある新入職者が増えてきた。その一方で、スタッフのワクチン接種ルールは医療機関により差が大きく、接種勧奨をしている医療機関は 44％だったという報告もある（環境感染誌 2013;28(3):147-153）。昨今の風疹や麻疹の流行を考えても、実習として臨床現場に入る前に、B 型肝炎を含む職業曝露が問題となる疾患についてのワクチン接種が完了していることが望ましい。
