Molecular characterization of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae in a tertiary university hospital in Turkey

本研究の目的は、トルコの大学付属 3 次病院で同定されたカルバペネム耐性肺炎桿菌（Klebsiella pneumoniae）の耐性遺伝子およびその遺伝的関連を明らかにすることである。研究期間中に患者 137 例からカルバペネム耐性 K. pneumoniae が検出された。分離株 94 株を対象として耐性遺伝子を調査した。これらの分離株では、ほとんどのカルバペネム耐性 K. pneumoniae はオキサシリナーゼ（OXA）-48 のみを産生していたが（91.5％）、4.3％はニューデリー・メタロ-β-ラクタマーゼ 1（NDM-1）のみを、1％は OXA-48 と NDM-1 の両方を産生しており、3.2％はイミペネマーゼを産生していた。本研究によって、トルコは NDM-1 産生菌が存在する数多い国の 1 つとなり、また NDM-1 は世界中に容易に拡散する可能性があることが示された。
