病院環境からのクロストリジウム・ディフィシル（Clostridium difficile）分離の困難さ
On the difficulties of isolating Clostridium difficile from hospital environments

クロストリジウム・ディフィシル（Clostridium difficile）芽胞をステンレス製パネル表面に付着させ、次いで塩素系消毒薬（ジクロロイソシアヌル酸）に曝露した。種々の選択的および非選択的寒天を含有する RODAC 平板培地を用いて C. difficile 芽胞を採取した。非選択的寒天培地は、対照芽胞および塩素ストレスを受けた芽胞をともに高率で回収した。本試験の結果は、選択培地に含まれる抗菌薬は消毒薬処理した芽胞および無処理の芽胞にさらにストレスを加え、芽胞回収率を大きく低下させることを示している。このために、本菌による環境汚染の程度の重大な過小評価を招く可能性がある。
