Meropenem as predictive risk factor for isolation of multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa

本研究の目的は、1997 年 1 月から 2010 年 12 月の日本の大学病院 1 施設における多剤耐性緑膿菌（Pseudomonas aeruginosa）分離の独立リスク因子を調べることである。多剤耐性緑膿菌の定義は、調査した 5 種類の抗菌薬すべてに対して耐性または中等度感性の菌とした。14 年間で、多剤耐性緑膿菌保菌患者合計 159 例が特定された。多変量ロジスティック回帰分析から、入院期間が長いこと、メロペネムおよびフルオロキノロン系抗菌薬使用歴、糖尿病、および手術歴が、多剤耐性緑膿菌分離を予測するリスク因子であることが示された。
