Impact of the suspending medium on susceptibility of meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus to hydrogen peroxide vapour decontamination

消毒薬に対する微生物の in vitro 感受性には種々の因子が影響を及ぼす。蒸気化過酸化水素（HPV）によるコンタミネーション除去に対するメチシリン耐性黄色ブドウ球菌（meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus；MRSA）の感受性への、種々の懸濁液の影響を評価した。＞ 6 log₁₀ コロニー形成単位の MRSA を含む懸濁液を接種した場合の相対的感受性は、10％ウシ血清アルブミン（BSA） ＜ トリプトンソーヤブイヨン（TSB） ＜ 3％ BSA ＜ 生理食塩液 ＜ 0.3％ BSA ＝ 水の順であった。HPV に 60 分を超えて曝露した後は、いずれの懸濁液の場合でも MRSA は回収されなかった。これらの知見は、懸濁液の種類が HPV に対する MRSA の in vitro 感受性に影響を及ぼすことを示しており、清掃が不十分な状況にも関連すると考えられる。
