ノロウイルス感染症やC. difficile感染症と異なり、ロタウイルス感染症の集団発生に関する報告は多くない。本論文でも述べられている通り、重症化例が少ないのがその一因であろう。本論文は、フランスの高齢者用長期ケア施設での集団発生に関して、主にコストの面から検討しており、興味深い論文である。
