Tristel Sporicidal Wipesは、非管腔型の半侵襲的医療器材を対象とした二酸化塩素ベースの消毒薬含浸ワイプである。本研究では、清潔条件下のマイコバクテリウム・アビウム(Mycobacterium avium)に対する本製品の殺抗酸菌活性を、欧州標準prEN 14563検査の修正版により評価した。ワイプの活性化状態の二酸化塩素濃度は200 ppmであった。検査結果から、二酸化塩素含浸ワイプは清潔条件下において、拭き取り操作ありで30秒、なしで60秒の接触時間で殺抗酸菌性を発揮することが示された。
